Lilac Village Bed & Breakfast: A "5-Star" Experience
Todd and I had a very lovely time with you and opening up your very unique and special place for us to stay! We felt very much at home and yet experienced stepping back in time. . .so wonderful. Your food was so deliciously divine! And loved your pets. <3 <3 <3 What a wonderful bed and breakfast. Everything was so nice-the breakfast we had on Sunday morning was great-good coffee. Thanks for being so gracious to our whole family/the roll away and cot. We all want to wish you much luck in your bed and breakfast. And God’s blessings on both of you and your new business-thanks again/you made our stay very enjoyable. |
Pattie and Neil, such wonderful hospitality!! Thank you for allowing us to share our 37th anniversary with you. Your (Lilac Village) B & B is so lovely. Again, thank you. It was great! Randi and I had such a wonderful stay at your inn! So glad we found you. Loved the old-time music and atmosphere. Yummy breakfast and raspberries. Thank you so much. |
The Lilac Room was so pretty and soaking in the lavender salts was so relaxing.
We needed the R & R and your place definitely provided this for. Now we must mention the breakfast. The best breakfast-the best! We have stayed in quite a few B & B’s and we must rate yours the BEST. Your breakfast was fit for a king and queen-thank you for making us feel like we were special.
P.S. Please keep in touch we want to come back.

A True Gem
"We had the perfect stay at the Lilac Village! There was nothing that could have been improved upon. Our room was so quaint and well apportioned. All the furniture (and even much of the decor) are period pieces, so it feels as if one is stepping back in time. Make sure to ask Neal and Pattie about the history of the house! They are gracious hosts and we felt like family while we were there. Patricia's breakfasts are to die for!"

Perfect Winter Getaway
We had a great stay at Lilac Village B&B! We enjoyed the roaring fire and the wonderful food. Neal and Patti were perfect hosts. They were even friendly for our 16 month old son, he loved the beautiful Christmas decor throughout the home.

Great place to stay
We enjoyed very much our stay at Lilac Village B&B. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. We had a great deal in common with Neal and Pattie, and enjoyed talking with them. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We recommend this lovely B&B to anyone enjoying that lovely part of Wisconsin.

Like Staying with Family - Wonderful B&B
This was a one night stop for us as we transitioned from the Apostle Islands area through the St Croix Scenic River area down to LaCrosse. Wish we had stayed more than one night. While the Best Western is within spitting distance - but you just can't get a better cozy experience like staying at this place. My husband and I joke that we stayed with "Cousin Patty and her husband Neal" - because they were just so welcoming and we felt like we'd known them for years. The house is adorably decorated (where did they find carpet with lilacs??) and the breakfast was fantastic. They even gave us a big fresh tomato from their garden and a knife to take with us so we could cut it later. It just doesn't get better than this. BONUS - there is a wonderful restaurant within easy walking distance.

Refreshing Garden Oasis
Staying at the Lilac Village Inn was so delightful! The lilac room is so wonderful and the tub so great! The whole experience of a beautiful house decorated in the '30s era and the vintage pink glass dishes for breakfast made it also a vintage retreat, which I love. The gardens and lilacs were blooming, 24 varieties they have in this town named "Syren" originally, Swedish for lilac. A perfect B and B; and right across from Tesora restaurant. And the host Pattie is like what you imagine a B and B lady to be, straight from the movies, cheerful, hospitable and free-spirited.
